At first I'm completely devastated by the fact this building could be demolished... Its for few reasons:
1. Investor will stop the investments and the ruin will remain untouched for another 50 years or more - added to the list already dilapidating buildings here along the coast
2. The message about negative attitude towards investors in Dalmatia will be send to the world which will reduce anyway very little interest from the foreign investments to invest here
3. The chance for 40-50 working places will be lots and deepen the depression in which Kastela is in at the moment (there will be more robbery, more crime, more drugs etc...)

Its also obvious, that nowadays, countries are not wealthy enough to preserve all the cultural heritage, that is why historic buildings and public spaces should be rehabilitated into community activity hubs. This project, completed, could bring together “stakeholders and local craftsmen into a process of healing that is not merely physical but that is social, economic and political.”

I hope that this project will not be demolished but completed within short period of time...
